The Komutel Web Directory provides personnel with all the information they need to work effectively. Easily define user groups, profiles and access rights to meet the needs of your organization. The Web Directory can be accessed by all authorized contacts in the Komutel database via the Web or in an extranet or intranet environment, with or without another application.
Security
Web Directory access can be restricted by user group to accommodate the higher security levels demanded by information management. Komutel has also enhanced security by developing a management per profile function, which displays specific information fields for predefined contacts according to their user profile. For instance, in a hospital environment, Human Resources will have full access to physician contact information, the telephone operators will have limited access (extension and mobile only) while maintenance staff will be denied access.
